Well, what a busy few months we have had.  We have been visiting and showing at some of the best shows in the country.   We always love seeing our existing customers and finding out how Amulette fits in to their lives .  We have also made some new Amulette friends and have new stockists of our fabulous (if we say so ourselves) products!

Top Drawer in Olympia was such fun and although we were both utterly exhausted by the end (flu and other coughs and sneezes definitely not helping) we met a lot of interesting people.

It was packed this year, and lots of people took the opportunity to stop and have a chat.  When you work away in the workshop, with only Radio 4 for company, conversation is a wonderful thing.  Aside from anything it gives the poor dogs a chance for some peace and quiet!

The Jewellery & Watch at the NEC in Birmingham was a mad few days. For anyone who hasn’t visited the NEC it is enormous with many different halls showing many different things. We were positioned in the Jewellery Quarter with some lovely people Bill Skinner and Nick Hubbard Jewellery  as neighbours  who we spent many happy hours talking jewels and sparkles. It’s tough!!! We also took the opportunity to show case some pieces from Lisa’s new collection - which went down a storm. Diamond charm rings anyone?

On the subject of diamonds I must tell you that we went and had a nose in the gem section and actually held an ENORMOUS diamond - our inner Liz Taylors came to the fore momentarily before we both came back down to earth!  It was truly magnificent.

We also received some very exciting news as we are finalists in the Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards - an enormous honour and we were both quite overcome!  Definitely a call for Champagne!  We will let you know how we get on.
