AMULET

The meaning of an Amulet or Amulette (French spelling) and history behind athe jewellery has changed over the years. The original meaning of an "amulet" is an object that is meant to protect the owner against danger or harm.

Amulets can be charms that include, rings, animals, gems, or other symbolic colour or markings. An incredibly popular amulet is the evil eye, which many designers have more recently incorporated into their designs. We are inspired by the Amulet charm it's sentiment and historical powers. As seen in the picture above,  a few of our favourite Amulettes.

The Hamsa Hand is a universal sign of protection, power and strength that dates back to ancient Mesopotamia. Known as the Hand of Fatima in Islam and Hand of Miriam in Judaism, it's believed to protect against against the evil eye and and all negative energies. When the Hamsa hand is facing up, it is a universal sign against evil. It is a powerful sign of protection, and shields us from our inner thoughts of hatred, jealousy and insecurities. Often, in this position, the fingers are spread apart to ward off evil. May your Hamsa Hand bring you love, light, luck and protection.
